A Star Party is an event where astronomers (even amateur ones) get together and to view the night sky through telescopes.
ASNNE has a monthly Star Party at our Starfield Observatory in West Kennebunk Maine, pictured at the left.
We have two telescopes: an 8" f/15 Zeiss-Jena refractor and a 16" Meade LX200 GPS Schmidt-Cassegrain.
We view the Sun (with special filters), planets, galaxies, constellations, nebulae and star clusters.
